I’ve been a contact lens user for the past 10 years. I prefer wearing them instead of glasses because I can look and feel like a person with 20/20 vision. But for my eyes to take a rest, I still wear my glasses whenever I’m at home. And for my contacts, I’m still conservative, I always go for the transparent ones. Yes, boring, but colored contact lenses is too artificial. And I have brown-colored skin so sporting a blue eyes with this skin tone is really unbelievable.

Last year, Korean colored contact lenses were a hit especially to younger ones. They’re cheap and fashionable. Even online sellers can sell these online even if they are not licensed eye practitioners. Good thing, they are now being regulated. I’ve heard of horrifying stories of wearing Korean contact lenses gone bad. So people, love your eyes! Do not buy from unreliable sources. If it’s cheap, then it’s too good to be true.

From 10 years of using contact lenses, I’ve tried different brands and Air Optix is my current fave. My eyes can breathe, and although it says extended wear, I always make it a point to remove them at night.

5Htp (5-Hydroxytryptophan) is an amino acid which aids in the biosynthesis of the neurotransmitters serotonin and melatonin from tryptophan. It is a prescription free nutritional supplement which is available over the counter in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. 5Htp has been proven to aid in the treatment of depression in many double-blind placebo scientific trials.

Put simply, 5htp aids in the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin, increasing its volume in the body. It works by creating increased levels of the building block material needed to make the serotonin. Due to serotonin’s association with several disorders such as; depression, anxiety and insomnia and migraines, 5Htp has been used by individuals who are experiencing such difficulties. As previously mentioned, 5Htp has been proven to aid with mood elevation and may relieve some symptoms of depression.

It is also used by people who have sleeping difficulties and those wishing to have help with weight loss. Sufferers of sleep problems such as insomnia may find it beneficial to take 5Htp as serotonin is converted into melatonin in the pineal gland, and melatonin regulates sleep cycles. It has also been suggested that high serotonin levels can aid in reducing appetite, which may in turn assist weight loss.

Precautions should be taken if considering taking 5htp, as it should not be taken in conjunction with some other treatments and it should also not be used if the individual has certain disorders. 5Htp should not be taken alongside alcoholic beverages, and these two should certainly not within 6 hours of each other.

However, if these precautions are adhered to, and you fit in the criteria of someone who is able to take the nutritional supplement 5Htp, then there is a great deal of evidence to suggest that it may aid with several negative conditions and symptoms.

A tort is an action that results in harm to a person or property. Torts can be litigated, and the person who initiates the litigation can be awarded damages if the person accused of wrongdoing had a duty to act in a particular manner but breached that duty, and if damages or injuries occurred as a result.

Torts of negligence are careless acts that cause injuries or damage. Medical malpractice suits accuse healthcare providers of torts of negligence by causing harm to a patient through deviation from acceptable medical practices. Malpractice suits generally allege a medical error by the physician.

In order to win a malpractice tort claim, a plaintiff must first demonstrate that the defendant owed a legal duty to provide care, then that the defendant breached that duty by failing to conform to the relevant standard of care, then that the breach of duty was the cause of harm or damages, and finally that harm or damages actually occurred.

Plastic surgery has increased popularity nowadays. People are now more open to plastic surgery to enhance their assets and features. Maybe because of the newer and safer technologies being applied to plastic surgery. Personally, I’m all for all-natural beauty but if I have friends or family who wants to go under the knife, I’d say if that what makes them happy and they have the money to spend, go for it! But first, make a few assessment about yourself before undergoing any procedure.

The decision to undergo plastic surgery involves a number of different factors. To begin with, you have to decide which procedure is best for your needs or desires, and commit to it. Once you have made this difficult decision, you will need to find a surgeon that you trust, schedule your surgery, go through the proper preparation for the procedure, and make plans for your recovery. All of this needs to be done before you even undergo the surgery. However, the most important aspect of a plastic surgery procedure is its aftermath. More specifically, you need to make absolutely sure that you stay healthy following your surgery, as with any other type of surgical procedure. To help prepare for this, you may want to do some research on websites like www.AboutPlasticSurgery.com/.

Saizen has recently opened a new branch in Trinoma inside True Value. I got excited for everything Japanese so I immediately went inside and browsed through their products. One thing that caught my attention in the Health and Beauty section is the variety of detox foot pads available for only Php 85 each. I’m familiar with these detox foot pads because my mother used a similar product before called Kinotakara pads, also from Japan, and believes on the efficacy of the product.

Detox foot pads or foot patches are used to cleanse the body from toxins and wastes through the principle of reflexology. Our feet has the most nerve endings and reflex points and is therefore the best part to use the sap sheets. Overnight, the foot pads will purify the body. It relieves fatigue, joint pains, migraines, headaches, promotes better sleep and relieves the body of heavy metals. My mother used these foot pads before to get rid of her arthritis and it worked.

I bought 2 samples of the detox pads or sap sheets and use this on my husband Jeff aka my guinea pig.
