Choosing the right BB cream

With so many BB creams (Blemish Balm creams) out there, it’s difficult to choose the right BB cream that’s perfect for your skin and needs. I ordered different BB cream samples too but like many other BB cream fanatics, I have yet to try other brands to see what’s best for my skin. In Korea, consumers are lucky because Korean stores are generous on giving samples so they don’t have to spend in trying out products. Here in the Philippines, those samples are sell for Php 50-Php 200 pesos but it’s better than buying the whole tube which costs a little over a thousand. My fave seller of BB creams from Multiply, Trinketi, made a chart that can help you choose the BB cream that’s right for your skin. It’s very helpful that I have to ask permission from her to repost this in my blog. Please click the photos for larger view.

Have you tried the BB cream of Elianto yet? You should! Although their selection’s a bit scant, I swear they work really well. I wonder if The Face Shop has any though…

[...] Anywho, the deal with BB creams is that you definitely have to have a certain skin shade in order to use it without worrying. Now the origins of BB cream is that it was made in Germany to help those who had just gone through laser skin surgery because the cream had skin regenerating properties. Amazing right? Sadly it’s not widely sold in America but it’s massively popular in Korea. Now you can buy online but the problem is the massive shipping costs from Singapore, Korea and stores that aren’t based in America. Also, as previously stated, one of the cons is that the shading is so limited. I’ve done some research on BB Cream and found this chart on healthandbeautygeek.com that is similar to Temptalia’s Foundation Matrix. Just locate your MAC shade and the brand you’re looking for and find your perfect product. (http://www.healthandbeautygeek.com/choosing-the-right-bb-cream/) [...]
